October 5, 2019 was an absolutely gorgeous day in Boise, Idaho for so many reasons. Holly and I got the immense opportunity to travel to Boise to shoot Sabrina and Justin’s intimate wedding at a family-owned and operated vineyard. I have known Sabrina for years, we were on the Havre High swim team together!  She has always been a genuine, happy soul & I was so glad to reconnect with her! As soon as I met Justin, I knew these two were a literal match made in heaven; he was kind, calm & so very excited to marry his love! 

The morning started out with Sabrina getting ready surrounded by her very best friends and some of the most amazing vendors I’ve seen dropping off gorgeous florals, perfectly primping the girls & setting up food and DJ stations. There was so much excitement in the air as Holly and I arrived! We began by photographing Sabrina’s perfectly planned details and a grooms ring that is totally unique! Justin is a duck hunter, and he had his ring made to resemble a duck tag! Sabrinas ring is a gorgeous rough diamond and it made my day (have I told you how much I love rough diamonds?!)!

The first look was so sweet and full of love. Justin hugged Sabrina several times and you could just feel the chemistry between them! We wandered around the gorgeous property and even braved the spider-ridden grapes to capture their love! (Did you see Hollys insta story about the spiders? 😂) Sabrina looked absolutely gorgeous and watching Justin admire her while we took her bridal portraits literally made my heart soar!

Their ceremony was officiated by a family friend and was topped off with personalized music and readings by the mother of the bride and the grooms sister.  We followed the ceremony with a delicious three-station dinner of pasta, a nacho bar & an Asian noodle bar 😍! There were five heartfelt speeches and everyone at the reception could feel all the love for the bride and groom! The amazing DJ called out hilarious questions for the shoe game, and then opened the dance floor with the best wedding playlist ever!

Cheers to many, many happy years for the newlyweds! We can’t wait to watch where this new adventure takes you! Thank you Sabrina and Justin for having Merry Character Photography as part of your best day ever! ❤️
