Courtney and Danny | 07.17.2021 | North Bend, Washington

I feel like I could say so many things about Courtney and Danny’s wedding day. I could talk about how freaking gorgeous of a backdrop Mount Si was, or how we couldn’t of asked for a better Washington day with cool breeze, sun and clouds! I think what I should focus on is Courtney and Danny and the people who showed up for them.

I met Courtney and Danny after they won a free engagement session with me. I instantly knew I was going to love them because of the energy and go-with-the-flow that they had about the session. It was raining and they both were carefree about the whole thing. Danny was rocking a fierce stache and was constantly making Courtney either laugh or roll her eyes, which is similar to Evan and my relationship. So needless to say, I felt like we would all be good friends.

Similarly to the engagement session, they both were very down to earth and relaxed on their wedding day. Both said they weren’t nervous as they got ready just feet away from each other at the brand new North Fork Ranch and Events in North Bend, Washington. The girls were playing tunes and relaxing as they got their hair and makeup done – Courtney rocking her Corgi pants and socks (obviously) while the boys got ready then goofed off on the land. Corn hole and fun posing took place, just wait until you see them 😆 Courtney got into her dress, had a first look with her girls and then walked out to see her man.

I think the photos speak for themselves, but the next hour was just filled with laughter and joy as we snapped portraits with their best friends and family. When it came time to finally walk down the aisle – they both held it together. It was later, when they were reading their vows privately that they both teared up. Getting to be a part of such an intimate moment is always such an honor in this job. I get to be a witness to the deepest promises two people make to each other forever, will never get old.

As expected from the fun personalities of both Courtney and Danny, the rest of the night was a party! You will need to scroll to see some of the most epic dance moves and fun that was had. They ended the night with a sweet getaway car, speeding away in the gravel….away to the rest of their lives! It was an absolute JOY to be your photographer and I cannot wait to see you both again and give those corgi butts a scratch! 🤍
