Carly + Brandon | July 20th, 2019 | Walpole, Maine

As the temperature slowly rose on Saturday, so did the spirits of everyone preparing for Carly and Brandon’s wedding day; the unheard of extreme Maine heat was not going to stop everyone from enjoying this long day coming! Clarks Cove Inn was the perfect backdrop to Carly’s fairytale wedding dream. As she prepared for the hot day ahead, Carly sat with her two best friends next to her as she effortlessly pulled her hair back into a half up do, her natural curl in all it’s glory. They placed the beautiful hand-crafted hair piece by a local artisan into her hair and she beamed. She slid into her dress and you could see in her eyes she had never been more excited to see Brandon. Her mom placed the pendant handed down to her from her mother on her wedding day + now will hang on Carly’s dress for her day. She was ready!

After a sweet first look exchange we hopped into the car for some air conditioning and headed towards the ocean! The adventurous couple stood along fisherman and unsteady rocks to capture their portraits and I am forever grateful for their trust!

Their ceremony was sweet and well crafted by her older brothers who officiated. Her aunt designed the beautiful wildflower arrangements. Their dog Tori was the flower-dog. Everyone clapped to the beat as Carly and Brandon shared their first dance. Happy tears were shed as Brandon swayed back and forth with his mom. Carly beaming up at her dad during their dance. Family and friends from near and far to rejoice in the union of Carly and Brandon. It was one of the most celebrated and wonderful days I have ever been a part of!

It is safe to say my first experience in the State of Maine was an absolute success. Carly and Brandon brought me to Maine to photograph their special day and in the end I felt as if I have known them and their family my whole life. Thank you for being such gracious and sweet people + welcoming me into celebrating you first day of forever! Congratulations!
