Our sweet girl turned one just over a week and a half and I still cannot believe it! We celebrated her actual birthday very low key, we drove to grab her smash cake, and ate a huge pizza! We didn’t plan on throwing her a party because it stressed me out (haha) and she wasn’t feeling that great. Instead we decided we would just take her photos and let her smash her cake!

My amazing talented friend Rachel of Wildflower Cake Shop made Isla the most amazing dessert set up! She went above and beyond and I just cannot get over how adorable and perfect every single dessert was and on top of that DELICIOUS! She is seriously a cake magician and if you are in the North Carolina area you MUST look her up!!

Isla really wasn’t that into the cake but she LOVED the tiny donuts Rachel put on the cake. She ate a ton of those! A couple of our friends stopped by to wish our girl a happy birthday, which was very helpful because we had a lot of goodies to eat! I also need to give my best friend Karlee a shoutout. She created all the decorations for Isla. She is CRAZY talented!! Thank you, Kars!

Thank you to everyone who wished our sweet girl a happy birthday. She may not totally understand but this past year has been amazing for me as her mom and to be able to celebrate that with all of you is a blessing!
