Oh my goodness!! These two are absolutely the CUTEST! Exactly one month ago I traveled down to Bozeman, MT to photograph these two beautiful people’s engagement session! Not knowing the area very well I relied on my friend Sara O’Hara, with Sara Jeanne Photography, to give me some options. She went above and beyond giving me A TON of fabulous places in the area! (Please go check out her website and blog – she is SOOOO wonderful)! We all had the same favorite spot – Hyalite Reservoir.  What an incredible place! The views are absolutely breathtaking. A bonus is that Olivia and Tanner spend a lot of time in the summer hiking and exploring the area – nothing better than a location that means something to the couple! The day was absolutely perfect. It was a brisk, sunny afternoon and we photographed the whole session with perfect lighting! About 5 minutes after I took the last photo we saw the storm clouds roll in. By the time we reached town it was a full out crazy blizzard! It was truly perfect timing.

 

I have been blessed with knowing Olivia for a few years now. We met during The Miss Montana Scholarship Program and have been good friends since. She is an INCREDIBLE person. She has one of the biggest hearts, a passion for serving others, and also, this girl can ROCK a pair of six inch heels! I met Tanner the first year we competed in Miss Montana but didn’t get to see or talk to him a whole lot. It really wasn’t until their engagement session I had a chance to talk, laugh, and really get to know Tanner. He is a funny, kind, and chivalrous guy. I was blown away with the way he treats Olivia and the way she absolutely adores him. There is SO much love between them! The whole session was smiles, laughs, sweet kisses and looks of endearing love. I am so happy for Olivia to have found her person, her best friend, and her forever adventure buddy! Tanner, I know you are going to be the best husband, father and encourager. I cannot, I mean CANNOT wait to photograph the start of your new beginning this September!
