SEATTLE AREA BRIGHT + VIBRANT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY FOR HAPPY, KIND SOULS
I know how important your senior pictures are to you, I’ve been there! That is why today’s blog post is to help you prepare for your senior session!
If you are a Merry Senior, you probably already know these things because you read my tips in your information magazine, but if you are not a Merry Senior use these tips to help insure you have the best senior picture session possible!
You will want to make sure you do the basics like pluck your eyebrows and exfoliate your face at least three days prior to your session. Don’t do it the night before just in case you have a reaction!
You also will want to wear makeup in your photos! Even if you are someone who doesn’t typically wear makeup every day, it is important to wear mascara/eyeliner to help accentuate your eyes! This will help your eyes stand out in your photos!
2. Plan your outfits
I know from experience trying to pick your outfits last minute can end up a disaster (like wearing a red top when you hate the color red on yourself…*cough* cough *…..me). Take a look through your closet a few weeks before your session and try to plan what outfits you are going to wear. If you are having trouble finding something you love, there is no need to go buy something brand new, ask your friends if they have anything you can wear!
3. Pack a “just in case” bag!
You never know during your session if your hair tie is going to break or if your zipper might break mid session or even if you lean up on a dirty building in your white shirt – it would help to have a little bag packed full of “just in case” items! Some other things I would think about putting in there would be an extra water bottle and a snack! You may be nervous before your session and decide not to eat, but once you are in the groove of picture taking you don’t want your hanger to take over – so bring a snack that won’t leave too big of a mess!
I hope these three tips will help you plan for your senior session! Remember to have fun & to smile big!!
